ITCRA NZ

ITCRA was established in New Zealand in 2001 after a successful launch in Australia. As in Australia, New Zealand member agencies agree to comply with the ITCRA Code of Conduct, commit to the ITCRA Certified Professional Recruiter Program and conduct their business in an ethical manner.

A New Zealand Council has been established to work in conjunction with the Board to uphold the values of the Association and work to strengthen the value of ITCRA membership in New Zealand. The Council will focus on assisting in promoting ITCRA ethics and the value to clients, both private and Government. It will identify issues affecting their business and work with the Secretariat on resolving issues.

Jeff Jackson of De Winter International has been elected as Chair and meetings will be held quarterly in Wellington and Auckland. All member companies are invited to send a representative to each meeting.

A highlight for our New Zealand members is the annual sponsorship of the “Excellence in IT Recruitment” Award which was initiated by ITCRA to recognise and celebrate excellence in the delivery of IT recruitment services and is awarded at the CIO Summit each year. Congratulations to Candle ICT, New Zealand who took out the honour in 2009.
